Grassland Midwifery was founded in 2016 as one of the first midwifery service centers in Medicine Hat. We serve Medicine Hat and surrounding communities. We provide safe, compassionate and personalized prenatal, birth and postpartum care for families.
Midwives are primary health care providers enabling us to provide clinical care for low risk, pregnant people throughout pregnancy and birth as well as postpartum care for 6 weeks post delivery.
Grassland Midwives are on-call care providers with 24/7availability to our clients. A midwife will always be acessable to you throughout your time in care with us.

What We've Achieved
Established a supportive and professional midwifery clinic in Medicine Hat.
Worked in partnership with Medicine Hat Regional Hospital to obtain hospital privileges for midwives in this community.
Developed collaborative relationships with other health care providers in the Medicine Hat area, including Obstetricians, Nurses, Lactation Consultants, Doulas, and other professionals.
Focused on building continuity of care within the community, allowing us to build a supportive clientele who keep coming back!
